I was talking about new titles and i said AT LEAST.

this is more impressive considering that this is the first time since 2013 that more than one game has had 10 million sales on a single platform.

Yep. Although it being a "trend" doesn't necessarily affect how impressive it is. There's also a new trend of Nintendo games selling better than ever before. That's impressive. All things considered I'm way more impressed by how Mario Odyssey fared than COD and Fifa (and if we want to talk about trends, then there's nothing new here in even the slightest). Yeah, still, at least FIFA, while selling huge amount of copies, hasn't been an "always 10 million seller" franchise until last year(at least on a single platform). I'd say it will manage 10 million yearly on ps4 at least until FIFA 20.

PS4 performing better than PS3 has certainly helped it, being Europe a very Sony and football based territory.

That's true. I wrote my original comment more so because something like Fifa selling this well is impressive but expected, it's been selling substantially better with every iteration on the PS4, which isn't true for Mario. Not trying to downplay Fifa, just explaining why I wrote my original comment and why I keep talking about "trends" haha. For me, what COD and Fifa did was sort of expected ... although I will admit, I'm a little bit surprised at just how much they have beaten their predecessors. They're doing fantastic! 

Also, I just reread my original comment and realized that it could have easily been interpreted as a troll comment. So THANK YOU everyone in this thread for not immediately assuming that ^^

Just use some other metric which is not number of games. If that was the case, Killzone Shadow Fall and Infamous wouldve both sold 10 million, because of the very small library. But they didnt.
