Forums - Sales - Media Create Japan Chart 5/2-11/2

Dynasty seems way under the par.
Slightly disappointed by SAO too, but at least it progresses compared to SAOvsAW last year. PSN preorders had 1 week of early access, so I expect a fair digital ratio. Digital has been growing on PS4 lately.

Switch seem to have found a 40-50K baseline, which makes it trail behind Wii and 3DS. Interesting to see how it goes from here with no strong line-up atm.

3DS ecosystem is crumbling very, very fast. Sub-10K hardware in the coming weeks and SW no longer charting in the coming months. Definitely not a pillar in Japan as things go. Soon Nintendo business = Switch business.

Cant find a baseline when its still getying sold out. Thats whatever nintendo ships

That's very strange. In the whole 2017, Nintendo was delivering 75K Switch in average in Japan, and a lot more during the end of year season when production was reinforced. Why would they slow down manufacturing now?

There are Switches for sale on Amazon.jp right now, btw.

I might be repeating myself but Mario+Rabbits legs amke me happy. :)

Zelda is doing much better than I expected for this period too.

Another strong week for PS4 and Monster Hunter World!

It seems like the west is the place where the majority of the Dragonball FighterZ and SOTC players are.

Sword Art Online and Dynasty Warriors did ok.

I think so too and they are maybe saving units for a launch in China

Forgot about China. Do we have date there?

No we don't but they are working on it and they atleast acknowledged it recently. I think it will come at the start of next FY.

Yes your correct, seems like he is mixing up some 75k weeks with either nov or new releases.

40-50k weekly is very good (for what it is) when you think about it. Just that we expect better. Also switch software is where its fucking amazing lol

Heum no, Switch never had a baseline of 75k not even during most of the last Quarter. Switch stock in Japan is still working with new releases. I think we will have a bigger shipment this week (not by too much tho) for Bayo 2 and a big week for Kirby.

But i expect the baseline to be around 70k during next FY.

How low on stock was the Ps4 that week?

I didn't actually see evidence presented besides kerotan saying it was.
