Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump considering to ask Jeff Sessions to Prosecute Mueller and Special Counsel

Is this how an innocent man would act?

An article, who at face value doesn’t seem like much, has an interesting insight: Trump is considering asking his Attorney General to prosecute the Special Council and Robert Mueller III in order to stop the investigation of his many cases, which include but are not limited to: treason, collusion, and obstruction of justice.

For someone who is so “innocent”, he’s sure not acting it. At all.

Anyway, the biggest and most important part of the article is here, “Instead, as is now becoming plain, the Trump strategy is to discredit the investigation and the FBI without officially removing the leadership. Trump is even talking to friends about the possibility of asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to consider prosecuting Mueller and his team.

"Here's how it would work: 'We're sorry, Mr. Mueller, you won't be able to run the federal grand jury today because he has to go testify to another federal grand jury,'" said one Trump adviser.”

An innocent man would not act this way. If this doesn’t concern you, it should.
He should have absolutely no power over his own investigation. Historians in the future will definitely question the ethics and complacency of the current Congress.

Tremendous. Believe me. Look, this is the most non-discredit the investigation and the FBI strategy you've ever met. Believe me. Nobody knows more about not discrediting the FBI than I do.

- "If you have the heart of a true winner, you can always get more pissed off than some other asshole."

Don't think it would actually happen.

Underestimating Trump is what got him elected. Never underestimate your enemy

"inside sources"

So far it seems the "sources" have been trolling the media for over a year now.

Didn't Manafort try to sue him as well? I'm pretty sure you can't sue the guy that's trying to prosecute you. That has to be written down in some kind of law or something.

'His first-year job rating is the worst of any president in modern times. Scholars are comparing him to James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson, the two most inept embarrassments in the history of the presidency. Polls show that the country is deeply divided and dispirited about its future. Even allies condemn his racist rants and juvenile Twitter feuds with pop stars. A best-selling book, quoting former adviser Steve Bannon, depicts him as a childish dimwit who goes to bed early to watch cable while gobbling cheeseburgers.'

Holy shit this reporter hates Trump more than Don Lemon! He's not even trying to be a journalist.

Seriously I want the damn facts. If I wanted to hear another ‘unique’ and HILARIOUS roasting of Trump I’ll go on Youtube or any other hellhole. I have a passionate dislike for Trump but come on. Is it that hard to discuss a political topic without inserting one’s unnecessary opinions in it?

i want to know the details about Trump allegedly asking to prosecute Mueller - that’s it. If we need some context that’s alright, but most of that paragraph is unnecessary.
