I was looking to get the original PS3 HD collection, as my son had said the copy we had in the house was his (KIDS!!!!)... so will be getting the remaster day 1 and probably picking up the PS3 copy at some point.

It's a remake, just like Ratchet and Clank was for PS4. I agree with you about the price. This could have been a 60 dollar game, but it's pleasantly priced at 40 and seems to be worth it. The reviews on it is stellar.

Don't forget the Crash remake, albeit not a direct Sony remake, but oh so very related.

For some weird reason I have no problems with the graphics and the framerate in the PS2 version and I still have a good ol' PS2, so honestly I doubt I will get this remake :P (+ I'd rather use that money for a game I haven't played before :p)
