The Last of Us did 6M on both PS3 and PS4. I think GoW can reach 7M, with similar gameplay and a known character/name.

Where the hell do you guys bring the similar gameplay narrative from? God of War has no gun, Kratos has a fucking axe, Atreus is an active combatant unlike Ellie, there are mythological creatures instead of zombies and there will be no stealth. Literally the only similar thing is that you have a child companion and that the camera is behind you. Goddamn.

The narrative and the storytelling, then, if the gameplay being compared bothers you.  

That's fair. I suppose it was a hasty reaction but I really don't get the gameplay comparisons between the two.

Ya its possible, the gameplay changes can possibly get the more traditional 3rd person action gamers (Uncharted, Last of Us) to buy it along with bundles.

8 million might be a safer bet but 10 million wouldnt surprise me.

Well it's what they're banking it selling on.  Interest in GoW as a HnS has waned, so they'll be placing their eggs in the story/narrative heavily.  

Personally, I don't care for how close the camera is.  The gameplay looks a little slow/unexciting, much like FFXV but people seemed to like that too;  I wish I could see what they see.

The combat scenes don't look slow at all but the walking parts...yeah. Hack n slash games don't sell so I can see why they wanted to shake things up.

If that's true, then I would raise my GOW figures, because it will still sell more. 

This will sell around 8-10. This is a completely different game than the first. There are "sidequests" and the game is roughly 4x as long.
