I wouldn't discount the sales due to bundles.  It's just that you can't really compare the sales the the Switch numbers without knowing the whole story.

I do agree, still to have higher sales on a 2M base against a 13M is in itself an achievement. Even more considering PS4 base already played the skyrim on PS3 and PS4 while Switch userbase would be the first Elders Scroll in like a lifetime?

You're assuming that everyone who owns a Switch never owned a PS3/PS4, or Xbox 360/Xbox One.  Considering that Switch sales are blowing past WiiU lifetime sales, I think it's safe to say that Switch is beyond any "Nintendo console only" platform holders.

I'd say it's pretty obvious that VR would outsell the Switch version. People who own a Switch own it to play Nintendo games. That's why Zelda/Mario/Splatoon/etc sell millions upon millions of copies whereas AAA non-Nintendo games will struggle on the Switch. The people who play non-Nintendo games likely already have another system to play them on, so buying a visually downgraded Switch version isn't too appealing outside of the portability factor.

Except some games on Switch outsold other systems as we see new article almost every week

Wait, what? What articles are you referring to? What AAA non-Nintendo games have sold more on the Switch than other systems?

Nope, I'm infering that previous Nintendo consoles haven't had Elder's Scroll. And that for a fact there is a lot of double dippers for GTA V and Skyrim on X1 and PS4, while you don't have anything to estimate double dip on Switch... Still on the case of VR that would probably be a triple dip that would also demand the purchase of a 300+ accessory. So sorry, but that is still more impressive.

Saying the Switch userbase hasn't played an Elder Scrolls game "in a lifetime" (which is what you said), does in fact presume than every person who owns a Switch has never owned a non-Nintendo system or Elder Scrolls game.  That Elder Scrolls has never been on a Nintendo system, doesn't mean Switch owners haven't played the game before.  I'm strictly speaking in general.  Because I actually do fit your scenario.  I own a Switch, and the Switch port is the first Skyrim I ever played.  But, it's not because I've never had access to them.  I've played Oblivion on my 360, and also on my Xbox One now through BC.

And you explanation for why there are more people buying the VR version than Switch even with 7:1 advantage to Switch on the HW?

Doesn't surprise me, switch has a lot of good games available, VR has two maybe three? If I had PSVR I'd buy every good game to try and get value out of it.

I'm not here to debate that.  I was just pointing out the flaw in what you said.  Anyway, 2x as much choice of software on Switch could be one factor:

List of PlayStation VR games

There are currently 338 titles on this page.

List of Nintendo Switch games (A-L)

There are currently 650[a] games across both this page (A to L) and the remainder of the list from M to Z.

Count for yourself:

You must be a PSVR specialist.

We would then have to discount all the games that haven't sold anything relevant... but even with 2:1 options the attach ratio isn't 2:1 and the sales difference is 7:1

Well, Skyrim on Switch is competing with big names: Zelda, MarioKart, 3D Mario, Splatoon, Fifa, Nba 2k, etc. Is there anything as reknowned in the psvr library thats at the same caliber as skyrim? The only thing that comes to mind is resident evil, and that came out way back in last janruary.

Think about it.

If someone just bought PSVR, would someone go with Skyrim, a well known game that is often talked about, or these other 20-minute experience games whose name youve never heard in your life?

If someone bought a Switch, would they go with Skyrim, which they may have have already played on another console, or zelda/mario, two critically acclaimed games that they've heard a lot of praise about, and is exclusive to their console?

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
