They did the opposite. They helped with the port of PUBG to get it on Xbox asap. Xbox has the early access program so it would have been on Xbox first anyway.

I built a good gaming rig and have been waiting for this to hit consoles even though I am highly highly interested in it. For one, I hate kB/m for anything outside of strategy games. Second, my Steam friend list is full of Civ/HotS/Starcraft friends, not people who play PUBG. Meanwhile on Xbox I already have a squad waiting. So you can be very interested in a title and have valid reasons for waiting on it to hit a console. 

Well, they also helped port it, and the game likely would have come to Xbox first anyway in the game preview. They supposedly did try to spend a lot of money to buy the developer. But they did nothing wrong with PUBG.

What kind of reply is this? PUBG doesn't really interest me plus its $30. I am also not up for getting demolished by K/M Pros. Ill give it ago on the X doesn't mean I will like the game. Fingers crossed its good. 

Also just because I have a more compatible PC than my consoles doesn't mean I have to play every game on my PC. Different friends on different platforms, balanced/fair controls, no unfair addons, less hacks and mods etc. There are heaps of reasons why PUBG on X will have benefits over the PC version. The PC version will definitely look better and smoother. However this game isn't about the looks, its a dedicated MP game who someone like me is new to it, id rather start out with casuals on consoles than the PC Pros. (Note - I am not trashing the PC version, far from it. I love PC)

Unless you are used to kbm go the console rout.  I've played both PUBG and Fortnite on PC using a controller because i much prefer gaming from my couch.  Fortnite is great and the controller aim assist is so good that they had to nerf it last patch,  but on PUBG you need a mouse to be competitive.  

My only gripe with console is that going straight from 60 to 30 fps is jarring and feels bad.  But playing the first game of the day on console at 30fps feels fine.

I do and so do other industry people. It’s obvious, otherwise MS and PUBG Corp would have stated it already. There are countless articles about it. The most obvious: Microsoft themselves have announced it as timed exclusive at E3!

Do you really not see why? Just look at the thread title. The OP knew what he was doing with that title. If he was interested in just garnering or expressing excitement about PUBG, the thread title would’ve read “PUBG releases next week for XBO, new trailer released. Get hyped”. Or something along those lines. He instead focused the title on PUBG being a console exclusive for XBO. Which, as it stands currently, it is not, especially since Bluehole has publicly stated it’s in talks with Sony about bringing it to PS4. The only exclusive is the preview state. Though MS is working very hard to make everyone believe otherwise. Regardless, this is a huge deal landed by MS. Just not sure why they feel they need to be so misleading about their deals.

Like i wrote before, only the pupg game preview edition is exclusive to the xbone. Its pretty silly from ms to handle a unfinished game as an exclusive.
