Unless you are used to kbm go the console rout. I've played both PUBG and Fortnite on PC using a controller because i much prefer gaming from my couch. Fortnite is great and the controller aim assist is so good that they had to nerf it last patch, but on PUBG you need a mouse to be competitive.
My only gripe with console is that going straight from 60 to 30 fps is jarring and feels bad. But playing the first game of the day on console at 30fps feels fine.
