"Militants killed 184 people at a mosque in Egypt’s north Sinai region on Friday, detonating a bomb and shooting at fleeing worshippers and ambulances, state media and witnesses said.

'They were shooting at people as they left the mosque,' a local resident whose relatives were at the scene told Reuters. 'They were shooting at the ambulances too.'

Arabiya news channel and some local sources said some of the worshippers were sufis who hardliners such as Islamic State regard as apostates because they revere saints and shrines, which for Islamists is tantamount to idolatry."

Absolutely disgusting. Cannot describe how awful such a situation is. Shooting at hundreds of innocent people after they finish praying to the same god is the most despicable thing one could possibly do.

Islam the religion of peace.....

Why are there so many crazy muslims in this world? what is it that attracts the crazies? or about it that makes people crazy?

Well,

1) There's over 1.2 billion muslims, and seeing the history and growth of Islam (and the regions of the Middle East) shows why such violence still exists to this day. It is complicated however, and extends to a multitude of reasons and past conflicts.

2) the majority of victims from islamic violence are Muslim. This is simply ignored due to the lack of awareness surrounding this. The Muslim community needs to change, but it's not improving where it matters most unfortunately

That's what happens when religion becomes too important in a society. There will always be people who use that religion to control the people (e.g. the Popes during the crusades, ISIS, ...)

Time for muslims to change then, and take their faith less serious.

Part of the blame has to be the koran then, and all that crap about sharialaw, which has no place in a modern world.

These people fighting for it, are just murders, not holy warriors or whatever they believe.

That's terrible news. Muslims are at war with one another. In the West a lot think they just hate non Muslims these extremists, but in reality they often hate each other just as much.

Anyway can't wait for the day all our religions are considered mythology which they are. And I say can't wait because I'll be dead by then.

True. The Bible constantly talks about peace an love, which makes it a little less dangerous than the Koran (even though the Bible can just as easily be misused).
