Seriously, do I need to spell out the games name?

game #15

Hint 1: Combine materials gained from slaying monsters to get magical stones.

Hint 2: It's a spinoff of a long-running series (that started in the 80s).

Hint 3: As you fulfill quests the tavern gets emptied.

Hint 4: Deep in the labyrinth is a ... waterfall?

Hint 5: What the hell happened in this Forsaken Land?

Hint 6: What Wizardry did you put in this tale by taking away your memory?

Hint 7: This PS2-game was published by a japanese company well-known for their RPGs, although the series it is a spinoff from is a western RPG.

Hint 8: Cast spells like Kreta, Zateal, Daiba and many more.

Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land

As correctly guessed by The_Liquid_Laser my next game is Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land.

This game is in my opinion massively underappreciated. This was great fun.

The gameplay is a turn-based RPG in which you delve into a dungeon. To avoid that you have to go through the same locations again and again you can activate shortcuts as you access locations deeper in the labyrinth. The story is driven by text with character-drawings of the talking persons overlayed over the scene.

Your base is the town of Duhan, that is after a previous event called the Flash fallen to misfortune and ruin. The labyrinth besides the town houses dangerous creatures. The labyrinth has parts of the former kingdom of Duhan, that are now through the events rearranged and becoming part of the dangerous landscape.

The dark athmosphere, the inventive enemies, the story, great level-design, that all adds to a great experience. And to top it all of, the RPG-system is deep and very good. I want to advance my characters, improve their stats, build their skills. I also want to improve the trust in party, as this allows for pretty cool party-moves called allied actions.

This game is a spinoff of the classical Wizardry series, but instead of Sir-Tech who owned the Wizardry IP, this game was made by Racjin and Atlus in Japan. It was released for the PS2. There is a good site devoted to this game: http://shrines.rpgclassics.com/ps2/wtfl/index.php

Time for more hints, entering the TOP 10 on the way.

game #11

Hint 1: Crossover of two well-known game-series that never before shared the same platform.

game #10

Hint 1: This first-person-shooter is set in a universe more well-known for it's space fights.

game #9

Hint 1: You must leave the keep you were raised at the beginning of the game. You'll find more friends along the way, and have to decide which one travels with you and who will not.

13. Street Fighter IV

I played this game right when it came out, and I had lots of fun with it. Most games my only real memories of it are from single player, but I remember playing this game a lot with other people. Unlocking all of the characters was fun (something the re-releases lacked). After a long gap with no major Street Fighter release, Capcom did not disappoint with their return.

This game got banned from Twitch, even though it's "just" a management game
Your work is to force a bunch of cute girls to buy things, go to photoshoots and stream

This is a 3D fighter from the most popular anime in the west

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

#13: WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role (2000)

I adore the first 7 Smackdown games, and thus they have quite a few slots in my list. This one had a very large roster for its time, with over 60 playable characters. It also had numerous matches like the Hell in the Cell and Casket Match which weren't there beforehand. The story mode also had some hilarious cutscenes!!

I asked myself if HuniePop is worthy as a game or only sells because of cute girls. Maybe you can answer it.

game #14

Hint 1: Poisoning the environment is setting the events in this game into action.

Hint 2: A time-traveling toilet.

14 is Day of the Tentacle?

The Liquid Laser has it right: my next game is Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle.

This is another masterpiece from LucasArts golden time of point-and-click-adventures.

For the story: Dr. Fred Edison has created two lab assistants, green and purple tentacle. With his other invention he produces toxic waste, that he puts unfiltered into the river. Purple tentacle drinks from that and mutates: he grows short stumpy arms. With that he decides he can take over the world!

Green tentacle asks his old friend Bernard for help. Bernard takes his two roommates and goes to Dr. Edison. His roommates and the other playable characters are: medical student Laverne - who has apparently arrangements with her psychiatrist - and hardrocker Hoagie. Dr. Edison has a plan to send the three of them back a day with his time-traveling toilet named chron-o-john and let them turn off the machine producing the toxic waste. The time-travel fails and the three of them are dropped in different times. Bernard stays in the present, Laverne is 200 years in the future and Hoagie 200 years in the past. Together they try to change the events.

This gameplay with different times is hilarious. If Hoagie talks George Washington (because naturally 200 years in the past the founding fathers resided in the building to write the constitution) into cutting down a tree, Laverne that is trapped in the same tree 400 years later will be freed as the tree stops existing.

The puzzles while hilarious are still also inventive and a challenge at times. But every idea about this all is very hilarious.

Also very interesting: in the mansion is a computer that you can use to play ... the first Maniac Masion game. Completely. The complete first game is contained in the second game.

Recently a remastered version was released on a bunch of platforms, but you can also play the original version with the emulators Dosbox or ScummVM.
