Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 122 million (was 105 million, then 115 million) Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Hard to say really.XC 2 has everything going for it(potential to be the best Xenoblade, Switch being a success, Nintendo marketing it alot) but it is a game that appeals to a certain group.Having said that, and with the sales of games such as Persona 5, I believe it can reach 2 million LT

I believe it'll be the first XC to crack 1m (Unless you combine the two versions of XC). LT, i except it to land around 1.5m, anything more would be great.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Mi prediction: 450k FW, 1.5 million LT 

My reasons: Although trailers are kinda weak and i haven't seen a lot of advertising other than E3 and directs, localization will be inmediate , and it will launch in the holiday season. This means Nintendo is giving it the oportunity to shine.  Switch is being a hit, unlike Wii U and Wii at the time previous entries were released. And this prediction is considering Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a solid game (hypothetical).

I think X2's sales potential is hindered by the "look" of the protagonists. It turns off even a jrpg veteran like me. It's nothing like Xenogears or even the very anime Xenosagas, they look out of place in a game like Xenoblade. They look like they belong in a mid tier 3DS rpg.

I predict 1 to 1.5 million.

The problem with this game is that it is appearing on a system with a small user base. So this game will have to sell consoles in order to reach high numbers. The game will need some legs if it wants to sell higher than this.
