Forums - Nintendo - Half a year later... (Switch Fails Revisited)

I'm probably the biggest idiot here, since I bought a glass screen protector and put it off because air bubbles, but mostly because dog hair already got on the sticky side and I couldn't get it off. I'd rather have a cleanable screen then a glass protector.

I don't understand why people don't buy screen protectors with the console. You're shelling out a bunch for the console, spend the extra few bucks and get a bloody protector, you're an idiot if you don't.

The overheating/bending of Switches was funny. It is just a manufacturing "issue". It's not really an issue if you don't care that it is not a straight line. Both mine and my friend's Switches are slightly off. It does not get hot enough to melt the material.

When you send a unit for repair, does Nintendo usually just replace it or are there times when they actually just fix your issue? I've been watching a few cases now and everyone got their systems replaced, and I mean, aside from my current problem, there's absolutely nothing else wrong with my Switch. I frankly wouldn't want to deal with a refurbrished unit.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Thankfully, I never came across any of those issues.

The only thing I can think of was when Mario x Rabbids crashed, but that's it.

Not a single issue out of mine ... well as long as you don't count it knocking up two of my cats and running one of my old Toms off ... what are we talking about again?

I've never had any meaningful problem, except for some random connectivity issues with the Joy-cons, which is not really common at all. My main issue is maybe the Wi-fi range, which seems to be pretty weak compared to the other devices I have. I mean, I can play online with my PS4 in the room, but the Switch just doesn't receive the signal.

Only problem I have had with the Switch is the left joycon desyncing every now and then when I'm playing TV or tabletop mode. Not a huge issue since I use a pro controller and will buy more Joycons eventually. Probably have put around 800 hours into it already.

- Screen has lines all over it. Not sure if I or someone dropped it or not

- Playing the Joycons attached to the grip on Splatoon 2 sometimes the gyscrope doesn't work. It could be that something was blocking the Switch dock.

Pocky Lover Boy!

The screen on my switch along the sides has minor scratches on it even though I did my best carefully putting it in and out of the dock, still got scratched, good thing I already applied a screen protector, other than that, no problems.
