Canada =/= world.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Just listen to this and don't worry about a thing.

I'm not talking about here in Canada, I'm talking about the whole world.

Then exclude Germany, it's quite nice here. Far away from any hurricanes, earthquakes, racist oranges or rocket men.

No amount of preparation would save me, I'd be dead within a week, charitably a month. Best of luck to everyone else in the Wasteland.

Whatever happens is gonna happen. I'm not sure there's anything we can do.

Other than praying that is, but even that I'm not entirely certain is benefitial.

Goddammit, people exagerate too much.Or rather, the news exagerate too much.Outside of a possible nuclear strike from North Korea(Or a retaliation due to a nuclear strike on them), the world has probably never been as peaceful as now, and about this racism stuff and all, its just the internet allowing the wrong minority to have more voice than it should.But even then, its probably a non issue too.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

There is a lot of shit, but it's not as if the world was much better in the past.

Even with the overpopulation we have, less people are starving as like 20 years ago. Less people die because of some shitty disease. More and more people can read and write and you don't get a weekly "hundred people died in their job today" headline in your newspaper because safety at work is much better in most parts on this planet nowadays.

And it's not as if so many more die in wars as in the past or if racism wasn't a thing back then.

Sure, I'm up for some preparation. Anybody want to recommend me some good popcorn to buy?

I like Angie's. It's pre-popped and comes in a big bag.
