.......It's not beyond impossible, but I highly doubt it will occur.

Knack hasn't VG'd past 2 million yet, while it is hard to find a main Mario game that hasn't done that (even the Mario Maker 3DS port is 2.5 mil).

Mario O has a 99% chance of besting Knack 2.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Unlikely, but I think Knack 2 has the potential to be a better game.

I think a huge edge Mario has is their foundation is better. Hence, they're gonna stick with a formula that works.

Knack 2 has to do something very different than the original to review well.

I agree with the first 2 points. I see Knack 2 getting a higher meta and outselling Mario but i think Mario has better graphics.
