Mother is not dead. Itoi (creator of mother series) said specifically that Mother 3 is the last installment in theMother series. So it cant be counted as dead

what other game series exists that is not meant to have a sequel. Its just not how games work. If Mother was a smash hit, there would be 7 right now.

I'm surprised there is a very little love for the series in this thread. It's better than Wipeout tbh.

I love both series, but I would give an edge to F-Zero. it has more of a defined personality.

Both are a racing game. But comparing F Zero to MK is like comparing Splatoon to COD. Besides MK is too slow for me, even at 200cc.

Half Life was insanely popular. Still never got a third one

The original was a showstopper, X on the N64 was legendary, and GX remains the best racing games I've ever played.
