idk about you guys, but I’d throw down as much as $2,500 on a NSW2…maybe one or two years after launch. If we’re talking at launch? I’d go as high as $1,500.

Really? Im still shocked at the 650 Im going to have to shell out. Thank god for stores where you can trade in your games.

NSW2 would likely be the only system with games which suit my tastes. It’s either no gaming, or pick up a NSW2.

Idk, I'd rather play no new games than shell out $2500 for a console. I've been playing basically only ds/3ds games for the past two months.

There's more great games already released than I could play in my lifetime.

If things got that insane I'd be a permanent retro gamer.

I'm leaning toward waiting to buy the Switch 2. But I wonder how much I would get if I traded in my OG Switch and the few physical games I own.

Though if the price goes up due to Trump tariffs I'll definitely wait until this mess is over before buying it.

Mario Kart and Donkey Kong are the only exclusives announced that interest me. Though it would be nice to be able to play Pokemon Legends Z-A (and Violet again) and Metroid Prime 4 with better frame rates and visuals.

I think the price here in the UK is completely fine for the level of performance the system has. Probably would have been fine at £450 too, but £395 is not a bad price at all. Even the game pricing isn’t that outrages here, if the £66 physical games translate to £58 digital like DKB does (which I assume they will) it’s not really an issue. Hopefully MKW is the expectation to pricing rule not the norm.

Curiously we seemed to have got the best deal out of everyone when it came to pricing after decades of getting shafted, the MKW bundle for one has MKW in it for only £35.

You forgot to put /s in your post (especially after the one to two years after launch part lol)

Not even worth half of both amounts you posted.

The expected price is $530 for the base switch 2 and $580 for the MKW bundle according to what analysts are thinking it will be.

Paying $500 with the MKW bundle was perfect - going $600 is a bit of much to chew but willing to buy it but anything over that, I'm likely not gonna buy it.

Paying anything over $1,000 is pure insanity.

I dont mind waiting, I got multiple life times worth of games in my library.

the way i see is this: a good gaming PC costs around $2,500 from what I’m aware. Being that NSW2 is my PC, it is a justified price tag according to my individual demands.

Fair point.

Oh great, here we freaking with this shit show in the US had to of course affect Canadian pre-orders now ....

Ugh, hopefully this is likely an issue of avoiding scalping Canadian pre-orders by the Americans so gotta keep the parity for the pre-order's day or revisiting their stock transitions route for the allocated numbers going to Canada or something like that.

An increase in price would be the worst possible news to come. I don't believe it to be the case however.
