I'm doing one too for the Pixel Remasters - on FF6 right now.

Kind of a multi year commitment at this point. Been curious how I'd compare games from the series. After I get through FF3, 4, 5, and 6, I'm not sure when I'll play another due to accessibility. Currently no way to play FF11 (MMO), 12, 13, 15, or 16. I have a Switch and Series X, so I know I'll get access to FF14 eventually for sure. 

As for Dragon Quest, I own 7 on the 3ds, but I don't have console access to DQ 4-6, which are available on phone but I'm hesitant to play those versions. Maybe if someone recommended it lol. Not sure what to do about 7-10 DQ games. I wish they did original re-releases of all those old games on modern consoles.

Aside from FF11 - you can play FF12 on Switch or Xbox .

13 trilogy is on Xbox b/c and 15 is also on Xbox , you can also get the Pocket Edition of FFXV which is on Switch too.

16 ya so far is on PS only but I can see it coming to PC sometime later on.

For DQ - I recently beat DQ8 on 3DS and love it - other than that I've only beaten DQ1 and DQ2 on NES, planning to play the first three on Switch since I have the mobile remakes on them.

I have DQ1, DQ2, DQ3, DQ4, DQ5, DQ6 alongside DQ8 on iOS, havent played them fully but havent had any issues so far from the little I played.

Next DQ game (after the first 3 games on Switch) - I'm likely gonna be playing DQ11, havent decided which version to play....have it on all systems lol

It's like we are on this journey together! Haha.

Wow, that's dedication!

Have to say my favorite FF is 13 and am very disappointed it did not get ported to the Nintendo Switch.

Looking at @BasilZero only reminds me how I need to get into more DQ games in the future. Was almost finished with DQ IV(DS) a year back and I have the intention to play DQV and XI when I'm too much into other games.

I got to the end of DQV on SNES back in the 1990s.

It was right around the time I had the horrible behavior where I would get to the end of a game but never finish it (Earthbound, Paladin's Quest, Dragon Quest V and Secret of Mana lol).

Speaking of which...I finished Earthbound so I need to finish the other three games.
