Does anyone else find Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet infuriating?

I have a level 100 Ceruledge WITH perfect IV, Nature, and EV training...and I still get rocked 9 times out of 10 when fighting Iron Leaves.

You have no control over who you play with.
You cannot seem to influence the battle 90% of the time.
If the other players suck you die.
There seems to be almost no correlation between what happens on screen and what damage is given/taken.
Everything happens out of order in a way that makes it confusing to follow.

And the thing that infuriates me the most is that no matter what you do you're just left hanging for like 75% of the duration of the battle. Like, you're in the middle of picking an attack or cheer or something...and it takes you out for the enemy to set something up. Or it'll just have nothing happen for 30 seconds and not allow you to pick your move, often having these two elements blending so you end up in a position where you were ABOUT to pick a move when, OH NOOOOOO....the enemy interrupted and now just seems to be on internal blue screen for 30 seconds as you're sitting there wondering what the eff's happening or what's going on.

I was in a recent fight where I went to chose my attack, got pulled out of the menu for some stat build or something. Then paused for like 15 seconds, tried again and was IMMEDIATELY pulled back out for another 15 seconds....5 times in a row before I got to actually chose my time and by then the in-battle timer ran out and we all got evicted.

I wouldn't even mind MOST of this garbage trash fire nonsense if there wasn't a timer on the whole ordeal.

but it's honestly the only REAL complaint I have about the game. I don't find the performance issues or glitches to impact my ability to play, but these issues with tera-battles makes me want to never engage with the mechanic at all. IT's poorly made, poorly implemented, grossly unfair, and broken in a way that actually makes it garbage nonsense.

They have the OLED version of the dock on their site for 59.99.  I remember I bought the previous version on Best Buy for 49.99.

But new Switch systems are still sold with the dock, right?

Why would they have changed anything about that?

Could a mod please fix the thread?

CaptainExplosion blew the topic up

Because it was worded in a way like they weren't gonna do docks anymore even as pack ins.

That wouldn't make any sense and Kslost didn't even mention docks until you did.

Btw that Switch Mario bundle in Europe only has Super Mario Odyssey and no other options to choose from.

It’s all good.  But yes Switch still comes packed in with a dock, that controller peripheral that you can stick your joy cons in, a power cord, and an hdmi (as well as the switch itself and two joy cons).

Europe is getting shafted there though.  My choice would’ve been Mario kart out of the 3.

Update on what I've been playing on across Nintendo systems

1. Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker (3DS) - Made it to the last day , lv 62 and clocked at 57 hours - my MC is OP and I have some pretty OP demons. Basically full resistances and physical attack reflect along with that packing Drain, Holy Dance and Megido attacks (all almighty) so I'm pretty much invincible/high magic damage unless I get hit by a almighty attack.

2. Super Smash Bros Ultimate (NS) - Started on Adventure Mode/World of Light and clocked at 31 hours - loving World of Light, liking the Spirits and challenges for the fights. Way way better SP content than the WiiU Smash.

3. Pokemon Sword (NS) - I finished the main game - Average pokemon party is lv 70 and clocked 41 hours - doing some side quests post game and then will start on DLC content.

4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (NS) - clocked 14 hours - started doing 150cc races and man am I getting destroyed lol, still fun.

5. The Legend of Zelda (NES) - started this past weekend - so far only played for 1 hour, got 6 hearts and got the second sword, havent started the first dungeon yet and yes I am following a guide for this cryptic game. Getting brutalized, guide doesnt help so much for that lol.
