To be fair, 3rd party publishers releasing their own collections is more of a response to how much they disliked services like the Virtual Console, which didn’t give them control over their own pricing and had horrible visibility and low sales. If a publisher can make more money selling it themselves, they either aren’t going to bother with a subscription service or will ask for more money from Nintendo to license the games.

RIP Breath of Fire :(

Anybody think Nintendo's next system will be out some time next year? Hopefully the year after that, because a new system next year could hurt sales of Tears of The Kingdom.

I think there's a decent chance we get the next system next year, and I don't think it will hurt TOTK sales as the successor will likely be backwards compatible, and if it's not then 100% chance there will be a Switch 2 port.

No chance.

MK8D DLC finishes up in around August/Sept 2023 and Fire Emblem Engage DLC will be done likely at the end of 2023.

They'll like announce the new system early 2024 and release it sometime during the spring season in 2024.
