Forums - Gaming Discussion - Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster (PC, Mobile) series coming to PS4, Switch in spring 2023

Which Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster are you most excited for?

Final Fantasy I 0 0%

Final Fantasy II 0 0%

Final Fantasy III 0 0%

Final Fantasy IV 1 7.14%

Final Fantasy V 3 21.43%

Final Fantasy VI 10 71.43%

Total:14

Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI will be available both individually or together as a bundle for PS4 and Switch. Standard and “Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Edition” physical editions will also be available day and date with the digital launch, exclusively via Square Enix Store. Quantities for both will be limited.

The Collector's Edition will be $259 and Square Enix store exclusive. The overall bundle (physical and digital) will be $75 (which is 22% off compared to buying them all full price individually) - same as what the bundle is priced on Steam.

Shame that there's no Xbox version, would have been great to go along with VII, VIII, IX, X/X-2, XII and XIII. I mean they had every single FF game except for XIV lol.

I got them all on Steam so I'll wait when the games are on sale price on PS4 (for trophies) and Switch (for portable FF experience).

Its actually cheaper that way.

You can also buy it individually but it would be more than $75

FF1 = $12

FF2 = $12

FF3 = $18

FF4 = $18

FF5 = $18

FF6 = $18

That is $96 , if you buy each individually.

The pricing could have been worse but its actually decent.

FF4 and FF6 alone are worth more and FF3 is the first time the west gets an original version of FF3 and not the 3D remake's story.

Now this, I agree - its so stupid and sadly...people will gobble it up at that price.

Also the fact that its SE store exclusive...you got the shipping cost which will likely be another $25 lol

We will have to disagree.  Each game should be $5 to $10.  Grossly overpriced.  I try not to emulate and give companies their due money, but I would emulate (the originals) before this nonsense.

Yeah , we will have to disagree.

A lot of the changes (especially music and animations) make this a much better experience than emulating the originals (specifically the NES games). The price is worth it and I'm surprised it wasnt more expensive especially considering this is SE.

Either ways, just wait for the discount prices, these games will fall in sale real quick on consoles whenever SE does their FF sales every now and then (like how they are doing it now).

Agreed.  Sale prices are likely to get better.  I really only want 4 and 6.

I would recommend 3 if you never played it.

I found the NES version more enjoyable than the 3D remakes on DS, PSP, Mobile and PC.

I have always been interested in playing 4 or 5 again. Haven't played it in over 25 years, but I still remember having some fun.
