Overloaded with quite a backlog on S2 right now and mind you the are still continuous releases all the way through to October, September in particular will be an expensive month with Orbitals, Fire Emblem and Onimusha out within days of each other.

Quick impressions of the Switch 2:

Coming from a Lite model, the Switch 2 has been a major step up in every way, with a docked mode that is more convenient than I initially thought. The device itself has a premium feel, from the Joy Cons that are detachable, to the screen and audio, to the magnetic docking, I'm blown away with the overall package. The eShop has seen a massive improvement in terms of speed and navigation. With the portability factor, and the beefed up hardware, I'm going all digital for my Switch 2 library.

I've only played my backlog of Nintendo exclusives that I haven't got around to. I've been holding off on Pokemon Legends ZA and BoTW and I think I'll finally start them. DKB is the only Switch 2 game on my radar so far, but the OoT remake might be Day One depending on the price.

Glad you're liking it.

DKB's my fav Switch 2 game so far, definitely a banger. What kind of games are you into? Fast Fusion is worth a look if you're into racers.

Well it seems people are responding well to Splatoon Raiders: it currently sits as Nintendo’s highest user rated game of all time on MC (9.3/10). IIRC DKBananza was at one point the number one but naturally went down over time (as is usually the case).

I certainly do not want to think of mine currently during this summer, cuz my other activities (mainly tennis) has halted some of my progress with a few games.

At least, I'm not too far from finishing The Adventures of Elliot and will begin Star Fox soon after finally !

That Splatoon audience is damn dedicated with their games. Seems like it's a big upgrade to the Salmon Run mode in the main games.

Hopefully the sales follow suit.

I plan on using my Switch 2 mostly for exclusive games.

I play mostly single player games with Civilization 7 being the only live service game in my rotation. I'm excited for Wolverine, GTA, Star Wars Galactic Racer, and Onimusha for the rest of the year, but these experiences are better suited for the PS5 IMO.
