Played about an hour of Splatoon Raiders and I really like it so far. Excited to see what kind of cool weapons and gadgets I will find. It starts you out with motion controls, but Im happy you can turn that off. It plays great.

Holy cow, Splatoon Raiders is no joke. Very challenging game so far! Oof. (Well… that or I’m not very good at Splatoon. Probably the latter TBH lol.)

Not ashamed to admit I played on tourist difficulty after being warned it was hard haha

Yeah had I known I would’ve gone down. But since I’ve already started on the hardest mode, I’m not gonna back down now.

Good to see that Miyamoto understands this. Too many of these western companies focus so hard on chasing trends that I end up shooting themselves in the foot. An instant example that comes to mind: Concord.

And AI hopefully turns out the same way.

Man going back to the N64 controller after like a decade of using modern controllers feels weird af. Still such a great system though, in spite of its graphics not ageing particularly well.

Also, for fans of F-Zero, Star Racer is coming to Switch soon, with music by Grant Kirkhope:

Enjoying my time with Splatoon Raiders so far. It’s shame I’ll have to wait until Saturday next week before I can play again. :(

Got through a good chunk of the game yesterday and today. Definitely a game that gets easier the more you play it. It has that Mina the Hollower inverted difficulty curve design to it.
