What? No, FS never made a PvPvE before, they made single player games with multiplayer features, like most Pokémon games. PvPvE does tell a lot about the game, the main focus will be the PvP, but there will be computer enemies to fight too, and probably hard bosses because it's FromSoftware.

PvP has literally been a core feature of the majority of their games the execution is not comparable to Pokemon, Demon's Souls selling point was that you could meddle in other players worlds and work with or against them the was no Souls like tagline back then PvPvE is literally what they've always been doing it's the execution that has changed Nightreign is the latest example of this so saying the game is PvPvE literally is telling consumers nothing.

The objective of the games isn't to defeat other players and rank up, it's to get to and defeat the final boss, they are single player games, PvP is an optional side activity in them, and it's 100% comparable to Pokémon. In a PvPvE game, the PvP part isn't optional, it's the main part of the game, and literally no one has ever called the past FS games PvPvE before, not even Miyazaki, because they're not that, never have been, not even Nightreign, as it's completely missing the PvP part... I don't know what else to tell you.

I wonder if the alleged next Star Fox game is gonna be revealed on April 21.

Doesn’t Star Fox have a JP anniversary coming up? I believe April 27th was the release date for SF64. Perhaps that’ll be the day Nintendo chooses… though it honestly could be any day. I’d imagine they’re looking to line it up with the JP debut of the Super Mario Galaxy movie. My guess is no sooner than the movie’s launch.

Also, I was just thinking— a new single-player focused Splatoon is releasing this year. Like… IDK. I feel like I hadn’t fully processed it until just now. A new Splatoon is coming, but with single-player as the main focus. That’s pretty massive, no? I can’t say Splatoon has ever let me down. I’ve spent around 120hr in just Splatoon 2 & 3 alone, which is big for my standards.

Yeah as someone who loved the single player components of 1-3 but wished they were meatier, I'm very keen for Raiders, the Splatoon universe has so much potential for an amazing single player adventure.

If we truly are getting a new Star Fox game, I'm personally hoping for a better, more refined version of Assault's gameplay that follows one of Command's endings, or maybe tells its own separate story entirely?

I'm just tired of rebooting or reimagining 64 over and over again; Enough already!

Fortune's Weave has also changed from a PEGI 12 (Provisional) to a full PEGI 12 rating over the past few days.
