Since Nintendo is acquiring Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, shouldn't they change the name after the acquisition?

CaptainExplosion, I love ya (as a VGChartz member), but Google is a lot more efficient than leaving questions in the Club Nintendo thread lol.

In any case… I like answering questions, so I will gladly be Google for a moment: Yes, in fact Nintendo will be changing the name of Bandai Namco Singapore to Nintendo Studio’s Singapore. I believe this is the first Nintendo subsidiary in the country, if I’m not mistaken.

But I prefer hearing from actual human beings instead of from search engines polluted by AI.

Honestly I hope they pick a more exciting name than just Nintendo Studios Singapore.

No need to google. Its writen on the second article on the front page of this site, that was posted yesterday, on lastest stories section. (Writen by humans btw)

https://www.vgchartz.com/article/466380/nintendo-to-acquire-bandai-namco-studios-singapore/

It gets even more mind boggling that he actually commented on this article on the exact time it was posted

Bold to assume I’m not AI.

You're not wrong; I'm gonna finish off Hyrule Warriors tonight, then go back and try to finish Kunitsu-gami: Path of the Goddess, which I put on hold back in September when Cronos and Star Wars Outlaws came out, and I still haven't even started Hitman: World of Assassination yet.

And that's just Switch 2; on Switch 1 I haven't had the chance to play through Wizordum yet which dropped in September, and since I didn't have a PS4 last gen my backlog of PS4/PS5 games has reached a staggering 29 games.

Me vs my backlog:

Ooof, I feel ya there !

I'm trying to not look at my physical backlog I amassed after the occasional sale on VGP.

Though I'm just glad to have made progress in certain areas. I just got way more drive this year to play through most of what I started really.

After the next releases next week, the next 2-3 months will be quite empty to catch up on a lot thankfully.

Trust me, it very much might be. Especially because of a pleasant surprise near the end. ^^
