Nintendo's simply leaving money on the table if they don't.

IMO they'll work out a deal with Microsoft to allow some older Rare games on it.

Posible candidates for N64 Mini:

-Super Mario 64
-Mario Kart 64
-Smash Brothers
-LoZ Majora's Mask
-LoZ Ocarina of time
-Diddy Kong Racing
-Donkey Kong 64
-Dr. Mario 64
-Mario Golf
-Mario Party 1, 2, 3
-Paper Mario
-F-Zero X
-Kirby 64
-Starfox 64
-Yoshi's Story
-Wave Race
-Pilot Wings                                                                                                                                                                                           -1080
-Excitebike 64
-Pokemon Stadium
-Pokemon Snap
-Pokemon Puzzle League
-Posible some of 3rd part games like Bomberman 64, Ogre Battle, Harvest Moon, Sin and Punishment, Doom, Star Wars..

So N64 could easily have great lineup of around 15-20 games even without Rare IPs.

Seems inevitable at some point.

If they put a bunch of 4 player games in there, locks games to 30 fps, and does native 1080p, it would be pretty awesome.

However, some of the classic were kinda violent. Those won't be added.

I just hope they change the controller shape to be more standard if they're going to make it since not everyone has three hand.

What game required 3 hands??

Anyway they better fucking make on. Don't care about the Mini Nes or Snes but a Mini N64 is day 1... even though it will be missing a lot of its best games.

It's just a pun for the controller dude. In order to reach all the button at the same time you'll definitely need 3 hands if u are using the standard n64 controller

A handheld gamer only (for now).

I feel like the 64 game catalogue will be too valuable for a mini. I agree with others that they just might make a second NES or something. If they do make a 64 mini, the list of games might be a point of contention for some.

The N64 mini will happen, but I'm not too sure if next year.

I think it's the last one they can feasibly do. The last one they could sell as 'retro'. GameCube feels more modern because the graphics actually look like something, but more importantly the sizes of games will get too large while N64 games are usually still relatively small. There will be an N64-mini, maybe even next year already, and it'll be the last one of the line.
