Yeah hitting polar for a trophy should have pushed the metacritic up.

Nah, I platinumed YL and it is basically less of the same from what we got before on the N64.
This trilogy is basically the same with little extra's (that maybe are not that special).
I have the game pre ordered (first time I pre ordered on PSN) but I remember people really disliking Crash 1 after they played 2-3 first and that was almost 20 years ago ^^'
Really low score for something I absolutely loved back in the days.
However, I watched a speed run of Crash Bandicoot 2 a few months ago and it looked really dated. Especially the repeating level design seemed extremely lazy.
Even back in the day when the games were cutting edge, they weren't critical masterpieces (I think Warped was, though...). The new coat of paint will go a long way--and I'm buying it on day one--but at the end of the day, it's just a collection of PS1 games.

they have no idea how to rate remasters or enhanced ports period.
No reason why Bioshock Collection or Skyrim SE score 10 points less than the originals and games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gain 4 points, while games like GTA V and Last of Us Remastered have the exact same score.
Seems about what i expected, which is a nice but not impressive metacritic score.
I'm sure if Mario 64 was remade, it'd get the same treatment.
"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"
Pretty good score. About what I expected. Looking forward to downloading it off the PS Store by midnight.
