I thought Nintendo and Ubisoft had the best conferences. M$ and Sony were middle of the road, and Bethesda and EA were just meh.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

2015: Paragon 2016: Andromeda 2017 E3: Spider-Man, a licensed game from a third party Of course for im sure this doesn't reflect negatively on Sony for you as it does MS. |
Yes, it is a internally published work for a third party ip completed by sonys second party. You know, like Alan wake was for Microsoft. Remedy is a known Microsoft second party. We could say the same for gears.

Yah... Oppinions :) How showing less games (far less), not having any kind of show and basically the equivalent of just projecting a YouTube channel full of trailers on a big screen (and calling it a conference) makes Sony conference slightly better than what Microsoft did? |
Yah....for downplaying! :)
Seriously I already said that MS had a better presentation than Sony. I didn't say slightly...I said it was better. Take a look at my post again. As for the games, yes I did give Sony the slight edge because it's pretty debatable here. What's not debatable is that Sony still has more exclusives as a whole (if we were to count the ones like Ni No Kuni 2, that were announced before E3). I do agree that Sony's presentation was bad. MS was good, not great...but good. It still wasn't better than Ubisoft's. That number on the poll is alarming. The varied consensus throughout social networks is that Ubisoft and Nintendo pretty much took E3. MS definitely didn't win. Not that it matters anyway.

You specifically mentioned how negative closing the show with a multiplat is for Microsofts first party. Yet Sony has closed three of their most recent shows with third party developers, two of which are multiplats.
So you're either using double standards or it's actually not a big deal for MS to close with a third party multiplat game. Pick one.

Yes... that is a third party title that's is not internally published. It's not first party but it is internally published no different than Alan wake and fears of war were last gen. No excuses for Sony on the paragon bit though.

Exactly. Sony only showed an hour worth of content. They took the nintnedo approach where they showed their first party, vr and marketing deal content. Very unusual of them. They could've easily Donne what Microsoft did and showed a ton of third party and timed exclusive content but they did not. They kept it real, pretty much. Once that timed exclusivity is up there's not much Microsoft can do to stop Sony.

So PSX 2015, 2016, and E3 2017 all closed with something other than first party developed games. Oh my god Sony must have zero faith in their first party omg!!1!
Personally I think Keighley is a charming fellow.
But it is also sad how IGN had to praise every single thing they saw in the MS show. Those "journalists" are very cheap to buy, a dime a dozen individuals.
Remember Gamergate...
