I doubt it. Above 90 for sure, but I don't see it getting that high on metacritic.

I think it'll get a similar score than 3DWorld. Around 93-95 maybe. It's just that I find this game less appealing to my taste than 3DWorld, but people tend to like exploration-based Marios. So I can see it doing great.

if a single site which uses an "out of 5" scale to rate their games gives it a 4/5 (80%) it would take 20 reviews at 100% to bring that average back up towards 99% just from a math point of view it would be very very difficult to achieve 99% meta with the way certain sites rate games.

On a side note though... this game looks fucking incredible, I can't wait for holiday season.... and Virtual Console.

both Galaxy games have a 97, so I dont think this is too far off
