Wouldnt it be the opposite than? Especially when there is Still ssb/pokemon/ac/etc left?

Well, we didn't hear anything about SSB at E3, so I don't expect it to come this year. Pokken isn't going to push much hardware, and the big Pokémon RPG for this year is still 3DS. AC is going to sell the most on software, and push more hardware, on PS4. I don't foresee any third party title on Switch selling more copies than their PS4/ Xbone counterparts.

AC is for Animal Crossing but you're still right.  Whats the point of having big games when there is no system to play them on?  Apple is looking for max output for the iphone 8 so i say that PS4 has a couple more months in the bag.  Far cry from just last month.

lol, before most people were saying Switch would win every month until at least September, now this result was predictable? ok then

in any case, there probably wasn't much between them, and supply may be an issue, though nowhere near to the extent as it seems to be in Japan. Next month will be close also, PS4 seems to have been boosted a bit by the limited Gold edition console, and I don't think ARMS will push hardware at all

also, Ubisoft seem to be having a real good year so far

Congrats to Sony

Nier still in the top 20 yeeesss :D I wish Persona was there too.

This just showcase the power of the PlayStation brand and why so y definitely won't release the ps5 before 2020.

Gongratz to both ps4 and switch.

PS4 is actually #1 over Switch? If so I can't say I'm super surprised. I was personally expecting Switch to have at least one or two more months, but it is what it is. I expect PS4 to take June as well, with Jumly possibly going to Switch. Come September though, it's definitely gonna be straight PS4 through the holidays, no contest.

Honestly think stock will play a big role this whole year.  Amazon hasn't been restocked in weeks and I've seen very few units on shelves this month.  Honestly, the Apple vs Nintendo thing about the parts is sounding more true by the day...

Switch still won in the handheld department so...

But anyways yeah this was pretty unexpected. Nintendo need to fix the shipment issues. It can only get worse from here with the new Iphone coming later this year.

Lol ps4 won?!?! Switch won 2 months and thats it? Ps4 is a beast

I hope Automata gets above 3 million life time, then it will have gotten to at least a 3rd of the sales it deserves.

They always have excuses. Sony is running away with it.
