Ok it wasn't hideous, but very basic. It could have looked so much better though. But Capcom refuses to give the MonHun team the money. Presumably out of a crippling fear of wealth and success. Thankfully the Switch is dragging them into the HD era.

The initial popularity of the switch could probably convince them that investing into the system could be worth it.

I always thought that MH looked pretty darn good on the 3DS.

Still a vast improvement over 3DS graphics, something like that looks good enough on a 6" screen and probably this one will look better, certainly nothing close to vomitive. But don't worry, after this one has great sales the next one will be made from the ground for Switch, you just gotta wait.
