Ok it wasn't hideous, but very basic.  It could have looked so much better though.  But Capcom refuses to give the MonHun team the money.  Presumably out of a crippling fear of wealth and success.  Thankfully the Switch is dragging them into the HD era.

The initial popularity of the switch could probably convince them that investing into the system could be worth it.
