Looks just fine yo me.
At it's core, the game is essentially Generations 2. I liked Generations. I also liked Colors. I also liked Unleashed.
Yes, being a Sonic fan myself, I'm all too familiar with how bad the fanbase can be. But do you wanna know what I do so that they don't effect me or my outlook on the franchise itself? I ignore it. I know right? What a concept!
I'll be picking up this and Mania when they both come out and I like forward to both of them.

Honestly, sounds like a pretty sweet gameplay feature given you can customize gadgets, looks, and each type of character has unique traits and abilities. Hating on this cause of some bad fanart is just stupid.

I don't see the problem. If you don't like fanfic characters, don't make them or watch videos of them.
