Xbox Fanboys want to win because some of them would want to be able to play GT5, FFXIII, MGS4 or any other PS3 exclusive.

I want the PS3 to win because I woudn't mind being able to play Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden 2 or Fable 2...

I just come here cause I'm bored. This time of year sucks for gaming....

Having near unlimited funds and being able to spend it anyway they want are two different things as they are not a private compagnie. They are quoted on the stock market and if investors think they are making bad business decisions the stock tanks....

I love stats, I love how markets evolves and get stronger.

In fact I don't care who will sell the most but how it sell the most...

I generally like to see first hand how the industry is faring, and sales tracking is right up that alley!
I didn't care much in previous gens, partly because I didn't have internet so I heard a lot of buzz about the games and partly because the competition aspect this gen is beyond anything we've seen so far and the market is making turns that pique my curiosity.

Because I own Nintendo stock.

As a long-time gamer and Nintendo fan, I would enjoy this site regardless. But really I wouldn't find sales numbers nearly as interesting if I weren't a Nintendo shareholder.

I care because the more a console sells the more good games it gets. At least thats how its supposed to be(dunno whats wrong with the wii's software).
