It only launched in NA that week. Europe was two weeks later and Japan was like 3 months later.

Consoles lives can be pretty darn interesting.

The PS2 was like Metallica, which toured forever, was a huge success, but never had a number one single.

The Wii is like the Spice Girls, which lasted only a few years but was at the top of the world during that time and broke a lot of records.

Not only that, the Wii U was never able to get the top spot in the hardware charts, the best position they got was a distant second place the day MK8 was released.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Top ten is insane with 9 of them being the Wii. Never got into that system, but cannot deny the sensation it was for a few years.

Ps4 sold over 2m on black friday so VGC is wrong.

Switch will sell insanely well this holidays!

Wow Wii, talk about kicking a** and taking numbers. That's some serious hustle right there.



PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
