Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Switch selling life time? (poll)

60 worst case, 100 best case is my range. I think it will get closer to the high end

Around the Network

I have said Wii-like since before it released and I stick to that. I expect 100 million lifetime.

Life time sales? Hm... hard to tell just by a launch, but I think it'll end up dragging sooner than later and don't think it'll cross 50M.

Hard to say, it's so early. 50Mil, that's my stab in the dark.

50-60 million lifetime I think. Just based on the content that'll be coming to it alone.

i think around 50mil. good but a step down from 3DS

Too early to really call. I think it is safe to say it will definitely outperform the Wii U, especially if Nintendo is more aggressive with its price. Personally, I'm guessing 50M-55M.

Way to early to call it but i'm guessing 25-40million but it definitely could be more.

30-40 million I'd say, based off the current version.

Could be potentially more based on price cuts and revisions.

Switch sales will end somewhere between 15 and 25 million. Never more. Because the technology is from the beginning too weak.

19 M-26M.  35 millions maximum (1/2 of 3ds sales).

This thread seems like a copy-paste of the old WiiU predictions, with all these over-optimistic "predictions".

"It will sell more than wii"

"It looks like a Wii and ds combined together !"

It's just impossible for the switch to sell more than 3ds, let's be realistic here.

I expect a good 1st year with 8/10 M sold, then a hard fall after except in japan.

40-45 millions. Bookmarking this thread to read again in the next few years!:P

40-50m I guess if it won't have any revisions. It won't outsell PS4 definitely and probably Xbox One as well.

40-60 sounds like an optimistic (but not too outlandish) bet. I'm going with that.

You all still think those numbers are accurate?

Still, your 30-40M forecast was very low and certainly below anything Nintendo expected, nevermind hoped for the Switch

So do you want a cookie or something? What was the point of bumping this old thread?

I'm not the one who bumped it, I'm just pointing out that all these predictions are very low considering the success of the Switch

70-90 million.

I originally predicted 80-100 million, but if this keeps up, I may have to raise the floor and ceiling of that prediction.

I think 70 million is an optimistic but safe guess.

I keep my prediction.
