I guess the 3DS will continue to dominate the portable chart xD No more competition!

Pocky Lover Boy!

I expected Halo Wars 2's sales to be modest, but not that low.

Wow, Call of Duty sales are low this year. They'd better take it back to the...well, the past, of some sort.

Nioh - 230k (with digital sales)

Reason digital sales for Nioh are not counted in the top 10 chart:

Sony - Digital sales of participating 3rd party publishers are included in both the total spend calculation as well as the individual title rankings. Digital sales of 1st party published games are included in the total spend calculation but removed from the individual title rankings.

They've already confirmed they're going back to Call of Duty's roots (whatever that means) and have heavily hinted that they're doing away with all the double jumping, wallrunning bullshit like that.

I mean, how many years do people expect the PS4 to be up YoY for anyway? 4th February now, even with deals, without a big new exclusive it is very difficult to be up when you started so high in the first place. Easier for X1 to be up YoY (which it isn't this month) when it starts much lower.

Very strong start for what will surely become a franchise

I wasn't surprised that Nioh outsold HW2. HW2 is just as niche as Nioh is. I know Nioh was an unproven IP, but the Soulsborne formula was evident. I definitely had Nioh outselling HW2.

I think Halo Wars 1 sold 660k on NPD when it came out so if anything it's not because it's a niche genre but people don't care for Halo as much as they used to.
