Isn't Fifa critically rated higher than The Last Guardian?

FIFA 17 is also rated higher than Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Thats fine as well, I am just saying, how is it shit, outside of maybe MicroTransactions stuff that is always in EA Sports game.

We were living in that world for the past couple of years, you notice that now?

I think its because its the same game every year. The football pitch, the gameplay and most of the game modes are all the same except for The Journey added this year that still plays he same way FIFA has always played. I have FIFA 17 on PS4 and I don't feel the need to buy any other FIFA game on PS4 like I did with FIFA 13 on PS3. The only reason I did buy it was because there was a huge improvement in graphics and new small additions to gameplay every year adds up over many years. And that is why its weird how basically the same game is selling so well every year while new interesting games are not. That is what the OP is trying to say. I know the reason of course and his point is very poorly worded.

Thats because of casuals..

BF1 is a great game.

the problem stems from the fact that us "gamers" are more specific than regular people. if people want an FPS game, they look for whatever sits on the surface, being CoD, because hey everyone plays it so its the best one right? if people buy a new phone, they go for the newest model because hey its new that means its the best one right?

yeah, it may sound like ignorance, but its just a normal human behavior. im not exactly a huge sports fan, but if anybody ever asked me what my favorite american football team is i would say the patriots, simply because its my dad's favorite team and i guess they win a lot. if people arent invested in something they dont usually take the time to learn more about it. people dont look for better alternatives to CoD because they dont care enough to do so. people dont want to believe the newest iphone is bad because that would require understanding tech stuff, which they are too stubborn to understand. its easy for us to know because we spend so much time with it.

in a word- its ignorance. making a rash decision while ignoring evidence and facts. its not a good thing, but people will only change if they want to change.

But none of these games are actually awful

I wouldn't play them but they are not complete garbage..

You should, tho.

Most people are dumb

This is how the market works. It's definitely not fair but we should learn to deal with it.
