Yeah losing Monster Hunter to the Wii is going to bite them in the ass hardcore style ;) But Monster Hunter seems like a game much better suited to a portable system in my opinion, so I'm not feeling the loss :)

With Wii's online ability, you think what made PSP MH game so popular is going to translate to home console?

To be fair I was was more commenting on why the developer is taking it to Wii.
Massive sales and interest on handheld in Japan - they love MH.
Massive sales and interest in Wii in Japan - they love their Wiis.
MH + Wii = unknown but likely to be big assuming they transfer game dynamic well to Wii.
MH + PS3 = unknown (and maybe never to be known) but again assuming it was transfered well they chance for big sales must have been there.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

In Europe games are having great legs in the 1-5k region . Just look at PSP games that have every number . They usually sell much better in Europe :)
BTW : Im doubting that MH3 will be that huge . It will be big , but the popularity of the serie will never translate as well to console as it did for handhelds ( PSP ) . Also , Im more thna shure , that afther one year of the games release for the Wii we will see a PSP port , that has all chances to sell more ...
