To be fair I was was more commenting on why the developer is taking it to Wii.
Massive sales and interest on handheld in Japan - they love MH.
Massive sales and interest in Wii in Japan - they love their Wiis.
MH + Wii = unknown but likely to be big assuming they transfer game dynamic well to Wii.
MH + PS3 = unknown (and maybe never to be known) but again assuming it was transfered well they chance for big sales must have been there.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
