Not bad. I expect to see at least Warriors at E3, possibly also the 2018 title if it launches early in the year.

It makes sense to focus on the mobile game. As I said, it releases in two weeks, while we still have months to see footage of other games. I still had more than I expected with that 3DS game, Warriors confirmed for 2017, and new FE next year. Really good direct imo.

2017 year of Fire Emblem!

That remake of Fire Emblem 2 (I think?) was unexpected but it's a good idea to do it since it was never released in the west, very happy about that even though the story looks really... cliché.

Don't care at all for Fire Emblem Warriors but I laughed really hard when it was also announced as a New 3DS game, poor Switch.

Finally the mobile game looks slick with a lot of work put into it and it's coming first on Android February 2, my birthday!

Ugh Nintendo, you did exaxtly what I didn't want you to do. A new Fire Emblem game (Okay, a remake, sort of) exclusive to the 3DS.
The Switch meanwhile? Not even a teaser Trailer. That was basically just a 'yeah guys we're working on it!'.

And Warriors isn't an exclusive either. Do they actually want to sell Switch systems?

The mobile game looked ok, but I'm not blown away by it. I think I'll enjoy the console Fire Emblems much better.

I am excited that there will be a brand new Fire Emblem in 2018.

I admit, I was hoping for another Shin Megami Tensi X Fire Emblem game. I love the combination and would really like more of that.

However, this direct was not a disappointment in the least. We are getting a lot of Fire Emblem over the coming year and I am more than OK with that. I am not interested in the mobile app, but the game looked very well thought out and executed. Nice job to Nintendo and Intelligent Systems.

Hmm. Decent direct.
Would have been great if they had a longer Warriors trailer. Nothing huge, just show like a couple characters fighting, not just Chrom.
Obvoiusly a teaser of some sort for new Switch game woudl be better than just a title placeholder.

Mobile looks neat, will check it out.
Full on remake of FE2 for 3DS. Will get that.

Actually I'm surprised how good the mobile game looks. I'll get eventually all of them, including the Amiibo.

SNES remake for 3DS is great news. Few people outside Japan played the original, so it's a good choice for a remake.

New FE for Switch i 2018 is also great. Wish some footage had been shown, though. Still was the announcement I most wanted to hear. And looks to be a totally new game, not an upgrade of Fates.

Also would have liked more footage of Warriors, but the few seconds they showed looked cool. Don't mind that it's coming the New 3DS. No reason they shouldn't continue to support the system, and the definitive edition will be the HD version.

Too much time on the mobile game, but it could be interesting.

The direct had good content, but so-so presentation because of the lack of footage for everything but the mobile game.

People need to vote for Barst on the Fire Emblem Heroes event. Best Knight in the series.

Okay, as for my thoughts

FE Gaiden Remake: Looks really good, would definitely want to get this game. Glad it's on the 3DS so I don't need a Switch soon

FE Switch: Nothing to be said about this game if nothing is shown

FE Warriors: Moving it on to the n3DS is a bit of an odd choice, hopefully the Switch version won't be affected by this move. But Chrom swinging a sword isn't enough to get me excited. Hyrule Warriors is great fun, but I want to see what design choices they chose for this game :/

FE Heroes: It's mobile, 6x8, microtransaction and worst of all RNG summons. Aside from this, it looks pretty decent and is FE at the core. Does have depth to make it interesting, so if it's f2p then I'll definitely download this to give it a shot

Direct focused on the mobile game rather than Warriors so it wasn't to my expectations but is still okay overall. Gaiden remake saves it for this one
