What exactly did you expect? The Switch is less powerful than the XB1.

Something that I can look at and say "Wow, this is impressive and definitely wouldn't be possible on the Wii U hardware".

I still don't understand why they decided to kill Wii U for... another Wii U, but without second screen and barely any advantages?

They could just release slim version of Wii U with compatible joycons in bundle and sell their casual games for casuals.

Maybe Retro's game will make you say that. If not, then I don't think anything will.

It's the Wii U situation all over again. PS3/Xbox 360 games looked superior to Wii U games. Now PS4/Xbox One games will look superior to Switch games.

Mario looks fantastic as for Zelda, it was created on thr WiiU so that is that.

I don't think I've still seen official confirmation for that. Anyway, we're talking about graphics here, so what does the price have to do with it? Specs considered, the games look just like you'd expect. If it's the price you want to criticize, there's other threads for that. (And I agree, if the euro price is over 300, that's horrible, because even the dollar price is a bit salty.)

When a new system costs a certain amount you'll usually expect that it have a certain performance. And there were a lot of people expecting miracles even from these specs.

That's their fault for expecting miracles. They're the ones that should be criticized then (in addition to the price).

That's not the focus of Nintendo Switch, that should be quite obvious. This is a 3DS on crack.

The Wii U failed, thats why we have Switch now. If you were expecting much better than Wii U graphics then you werent paying attention

I think it's fine and expected

This system needs to run well as a portable so it being a bit more powerful than the Wii U was my expectations

Nope, the fault is of the company designing the system.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

3D Mario game looked good because of their usual art style. I'm a fan of the their art style in games like Mario.
