I will pass on Horizon and TLoU2 because I do not like playing as a female, but devs should make the game they want to make.  Like I do not bash them for using female leads, the SJW need to shut their mouths and stop trying to shove their agenda down our throats.

All in all, my problem is not with female leads.  It is with how pathetic the SJW generally are on issues that are truly meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

In advertising it is a valid criticism, especially when we are moving towards a more diverse population. In film, not so much.

Well, I never said it was too much. Simply said it was a healthy amount :p

Not like it's the end of the world if we see non white characters though. Like you said, I could care less. I only hate it when they try too hard to force it (cough fantastic four cough).

I really don't understand not playing a perfectly good game because the lead is a woman. Like does it really matter?

What would you say to someone who says "well that game looks great, and I want to play it, but the main character is over 6 foot 2, and as a 5 foot 5 person I just can't relate to that person and won't play it"? I bet you'd say they're an idiot. 

The why should you pass on games that may very well be amazing? Neither Horizon or TLOU2 have a female lead because of "sjw", they are originally designed that way. 

What, do you want me to count or something?  

Uncharted, more specifically, Naughty Dog have moved away from the white male character. The Last of Us 2 now has a gay female character and Drake is done and is now replaced by a half-white, half-Indian female.

Final Fantasy, Kindgom Hearts are Asian or anime characters. 

Kratos is not white - well, he now literally is because of the ashes. Jade said he was a mixture of white, Asian, black and middle eastern. He'/ clearly not white before the ashes.

Now you can say that some games feature white male characters but they are also adding non-white males like Dishonored 2, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Black Ops 3, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Battlefield 1. Then there are the franchises that they change to a non-white protagonist like Mafia 2, Watch Dogs 2 or Far Cry 4.

You really cannot say that white males make up most of the new games' playable characters.

So basically they're slowly mixing whites with non-whites? Ok. I'm fine with that.

As long as it isn't "HEY, WE'RE ADDING NEW RACES AND GENDERS!", then I'm ok with it. 

Tom Cruise's character is based on Jules Brunet. It's not like they put a white guy to stand in for a Japanese person.
