Nothing. It's a fair question I ask all my friends every time I see them. It's either about Black people or women.

This is not a minority of Trump voters. I've had to argue against this claim several times now. Claims like it are everywhere on the Trump side. I constantly have to fact check when I argue with a Trump clown.... 90% of them fall silent when you start asking for a reputable source for their nonsense. It's truly horrifying how bad this has gotten in US politics.

No, that's what it literally asks voters to answer. If they think that it is, and specifically in the case of black people. It's a poorly structured sentence. |
I would be more eager to agree with you if the question read:
"Blacks are getting too demanding pushing for equal rights."
as opposed to
"Blacks are getting too demanding in their push for equal rights."

I mean there's a frightening amount of these kind of people who don't fact check and easily believe in absurd notions. That's simply something that Trump's campaign took more advantage of. Of course not all of his supporters fall into that category. |
Pretty sad. It could have just as well as said Do you think these ****** are getting too uppity?
Yes [ ] No [ ]

There are already people out there who say they will die for him. |
Exactly. That's why the USA is in the middle east. Without that there would have been no enemy for people to get behind. That's the reason for enmity between Russia and USA

And I'm sure there are some KKK members who are still Dems. Dems voted for the guy (Clinton) who excused older Dems who were in the KKK, cause "that's just what you used to have to do to win positions in government." Of course, ignoring the thousands who chose not to. You feel the same about the people who voted for him, or still support him? |
A KKK member as a Dem would be a rare sight. Even for those who are,Trump is the one who has hired a KKK member and surrounding himself with extreme open bigots.

I'd be more inclined to agree with you if it weren't for the fact that such a subtle difference in sentence structure meaning very different things can very obviously be easily missunderstood by millions of people. So no, I doubt that's what's going on there. And no matter which way it was written, in both cases the most important factor is that there are people who don't percieve they have equal rights for whatever reason. Instead the focus is shifted on their push for equal rights. A very common tactic of the far right. Because poor us middle class white people, we are the victims having to deal with all the nagging. |
And, for whatever reason, there are people who perceive other people making demands that go beyond the pursuit of equal rights.
Hiku said:
But the question specified push for "equal" rights. |
How would you go about it?
