Trump supporters' claim stuns CNN anchor

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APetG6zuous

This is an amazing clip, you can see the certainty on that Trump support's face. And their source of information is Facebook.

Here is how voting works folks, for those that don't know.
You have to be registered in order to vote, and in order to register you must be a citizen.

Now let's just generalize the rest of his supporters as that exact kind of person please.

I mean there's a frightening amount of these kind of people who don't fact check and easily believe in absurd notions. That's simply something that Trump's campaign took more advantage of. Of course not all of his supporters fall into that category.
On top of that there are just other scary things in general. Check out what appeared on a ballot in South Carolina.

How is this a question in 2016?
If a minority group are still pushing for equal rights, that means they don't have equal rights.

I'm not joking when I say that my view on humanity changed a bit during the past few years, for many reasons.
I always knew these things were around us, but it seems a lot more common than I ever imagined.

My jaw dropped in pure disbelief at that question

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

It's crazy how easy it is to gain a cult of personality completely on factoids. When you distrust the media, completely make shit up wholesale people want to hear. It's like an episode of The Simpsons in its heyday.

There are uneducated people that can easily be taken advantage of. This is not some new occurrence that arrived with trump, and I've seen just as many people post clueless or regurgitated garbage from the Hilary camp. One glance at my Facebook feed enforces that on a daily basis. Anyway, yes there are a ton of terrible people that backed our president elect. There's also a lot of intelligent and good people that did too. The exact same holds true for Hilary, Bernie and any other figurehead that is supposed to represent ideals, values, beliefs etc

Remember guys, its not individuals who fuck up, its groups of people. Especially all the groups of people that we disagree with.

There is a massive amount of people who believe what they want to believe. They watch their chosen pundit or go to their favorite biased websites and swallow what they're told hook, line, and sinker.

Awhile back, someone on this forum posted something they got off Facebook and presented it as the truth. It was totally unsourced and they made zero effort to even CHECK to see if any of it was true. They simply trusted it because it fit right into their pre-existing agenda.

Millions of other people are the same way. One of the reasons I haven't signed into Facebook in over a year, actually.

Where I used to work, we'd get a lot of older men who had nothing to do so they'd they come and talk. A lot of the conversations would go something like--

Old Man: "They say Obama is going after the Christians next."
Me: "Oh? Who said that?"
Old Man: "They did."
Me: "Who is 'they'"?
Old Man: "Huh?"
Me: "Where did you get that information from?"
Old Man: "Uh, I don't know. People. They were talking about it at church so it must be true."

I had fun with conversations like that many, many, many times. The infamous "they" are always right.

Also, before someone says, "lol u r a hillray supportor lol," I fully expect the same thing to happen with Trump, though not in my community.

Not sure if intelligence played any role in this. Intelligent or not, these people voted for the same person that the KKK endorsed.
