Forums - Politics Discussion - Day 1 after Trump wins: Racism comes back stronger...

Racism should not exist. Why can't they all get along in the US like they do in the UK and Europe? The UK and Europe are places where multiculturalism and diversity continue to thrive.

Tell that to the hundreds of women who were sexually assaulted in Cologne.

Yeah i dont believe any of these without proof. Theirs too many reports of them making it up.

Let's take a look at how France has been "enriched" by diversity:

I doubt this is true. As I said - similar to the woman who said she was attacked by a Trump supporter.

Read my post above. It's very likely to be true due to her history of always completely avoiding public confrontation before, and being positive instead, even when it seeks her out.
The woman who claimed she was attacked is completely unknown, so it's impossible to get a sense of her character. Vampy makes her personality known over the course of many years, as she tweets every day.
There's a big difference there.

Read it. But I'm not a mind reader. People will do lots of things for attention. Maybe it's true maybe it's not.

Nobody has commented on the video there showing a group of black men beating up and old white guy because "he voted Trump". It looks like things might go both ways.

You know, I live in 3rd world country. In my country having an US VISA is like a Status thing. Almost everybody after reaching a certain social status request their Visa. Even if they're not planning to ever go live overthere. "It's important to have it", they say.

Just yesterday a friend of mine asked me why I haver never requested mine. To which I responded: "I've never been interested". He looked at me surprised and asked:"Why?". I told him about the racism overthere, and that I was doing good enough in my country to put up with humiliations just because.

He didnt seem convinced with my argument. I'm gonna show him this list of tweets tomorrow.

Wasn't that already proven to be incorrect? There is so much false info out there.  How do people keep up.

What was proven to be incorrect?

Well, when you're supported by the KKK, what do you think is going to happen. The KKK could support anybody they wanted but they chose Trump. They didn't support Bush, Clinton, etc. they supported Trump. The video about being called a Nigger while in school is simply disgusting. America wanted the 50's back, and that's why they voted so strongly. That's why those "hidden voters" (aka. KKK) got out and voted. Racism isn't dead, it was just hidden, until now.  People at Trump rallies said "Fuck them Niggers" and we don't think there are deplorables/racists planted within his party and his supporters? Come on.

Trump stands to divide our nation, whether you think so or not. It may not be his intentions but that's what has happened. As an African American male, I'm disgusted by the way people feel they need to disrespect others based on genetics. I swear I'm moving out of Indiana real soon here, right after college. Get around people who are trying to get somewhere rather than be stuck in their own sad ways.

I knew this was going to happen. That's why America is hurting so much right now. I wouldn't have cared if Romney or McCain won because they weren't about being disgusting towards other races and normal people. Trump...he just has no values.

Well spoken and spot on. This is why I have started purging my life and social networks of anyone who voted for this piece of shit. I don't care if you're republican or democrat... left... right... it's ok. But when you vote for a guy who was endorsed by the KKK, wanted to build walls, attacked minorities, bragged about groping women etc. etc... then you ARE the problem.

I've never tolerated people like that in my life, and I won't start now.

I'll just leave this here.

Sure, it is possible that some of those from that Twitter are true, which is bad (though I can see some being made up). Trump was elected President of ALL Americans, even those who did not vote for him. All Americans need to stick together. The nastiness is coming out of both sides, and I blame the media.

The corrupt media, who in all its efforts to get Hillary elected, went on an absolutely disgusting smearing campaign against Trump of the highest order. You know they tried to paint him as literally Hitler, and his followers as racist dumb monsters. Not surprised there was so much physical violence towards Trump supporters. That was an incredible disservice to the country. Because of them, only is the country incredibly divided. If they had provided a more nuanced and fair representation, I believe the campaign from both sides would have been a lot less nasty and there,d be less concern and tension in the air.

Trump supporters were putting their hands on people as well. One that sticks out in my mind the most was video of grown white men pushing a young black female protester around like a ragdoll. None of them of course were charged with anything even though the footage went viral. Another one that sticks out in my mind was an older white male who sucker-punched a black protester as he was being escorted out of a Trump rally. The attacker later made death threats, saying if he saw him again he would kill him. No criminal charges were filed even though he assaulted him and made a death threat. At the end of the day, I dont think Clinton or Trump would have/will make good presidents. It's really a shame, I see the fall of the U.S. imminent and rapid.

Elections just happened. Emotions are extremely high for both sides.

This will settle down. Soon people will be too concerned with the holiday season and New Year's. Then when Trump starts office in January things will pick up again but simmer down in a few weeks.

did this ever happened when Obama was elected ?
