Both are my favorites. Like many have already said, DQ is the better series overall. The brand is stronger and more memorable. Consistency in quality and also in experience (a DQ game is a DQ game).

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I've only played 5 Final Fantay games and 2 Dragon Quest games, this is how I'd rank them:
DQ8>FF6>FF12=FF9>FF7=FF10>>>>>DQ9. I guess I'd say I prefer FF but I need to play more DQ games so this is not a definitive vote.

Out of those 2 Dragon Quest. It's remained consistently good. Final Fantasy just gets worse and worse. FF is Sonic now. It sells in spite of itself.
