If all they have is Call of Duty, Halo, Gears, Forza, and Madden again and again, then it doesn't matter.

Show me the RPGs, platformers, and adventure titles. Hell show me anything that doesn't have a machine gun or some macho looking dude on the cover.

And RPGs have macho looking dudes on the cover but with swords instead. There's nothing wrong with it dude lol

My opinion is that Scorpio will become the machine of people who don't want to or can't afford a god box PC, but want PC features like mods. Scorpio may end up being the most flexible console ever made outside of when PS3 had Linux.

I see PS teasing PS5 either before Scorpio releases or they wait until early 2018 (Jan or Feb) so they don't hinder any 2017 x-mas sales. E3 2018 reveal, then Nov 2018 launch. $499 price point so Pro buyers don't get mad that its another quick $399 upgrade, its clearly a next gen step up. At that price it should also match if not out spec Scorpio by that time.
If it were to play out like this, MS and Scorpio will be in as much trouble as they were with the XOne launch. It would most likely lead to MS coming out with a Scorpio upgrade the year after PS5 in 2019, or slowly fade into third place in the console wars for quite some time.
This assuming NX is a huge system seller and takes second if not first place in console sales race in the coming years, which would be tough but possible with Nintendo.

I don´t think I´ll ever buy an xbox again. I bought a 360 mainly because of those jrpgs they funded early on. Microsoft´s first studios don´t interest me at all, so unless they do some of those deals again I have no reason to consider xbox. Then again I have a decent pc so really no reason since they don´t have exclusives anymore.

I´m still not sure about the pro. Maybe I´ll just wait for PS5.
I guess it will depend on NX. If it´s a handheld hybrid, as the rumors say, I´ll pass. If they have a proper home console with a regular gamepad then I´m interested.
If I´m not buying NX I might buy the pro.

Western RPGs maybe.  With 5 oclock shadows and blood and guts and a face cleaved in half scar and tatoos and all.

This macho man obscession is uniquely western.  

I much prefer Japanese games.  

The deep and serious ones mind you, I don't care for 12 yr old girls in bikinis jpop shovelware either.

The kind with lots of drama and tragedy and characters that are timid or unsure of themselves and who grow over time to take a leadership role they never wanted, etc.  The sorts of games with cover art dipicting desperation and anxiousness or some sort of magical adventure waiting to d**k punch you with a 180 at the end.

Xenoblade Chronicles, Tales, Ni no Kuni, Final Fantasy (pre Square's "billy bad ass" era that started around FF7+) stuff like that.  Square I'm leary of after Sephiroth, Cloud, Squall, Lightning, etc.  They've been hung up on this western mainstream machismo hollywood crap as well since FF7 but they do  manage a few gems here and there. 

Scorpio is a better console, but I like Sony exclusives more. So I would buy a pro

i don't know "ja@#$@#$@" about scorpion, only that it will be "the most powerfull console"...

pro looks great and whit a nice price of $399, but... it's not the right time for me... i will wait and see...

To me, consoles are about Cost x Benefit, and for now i see no benefit in going Pro or scorpion (it's too early)... perhaps this will change.
