Should be running on both consoles at full hd with decent iq without breaking a sweat. Wtf, Telltale?

Yeah that is some garbage and they should be ashamed to release a game in this state, truly shows a lack of fucks given when games like Street Fighter V or Assassin's Creed Unity or Batman: Arkham Knight (on PC) release in broken and/or unfinished states and actually sell less or much less than what was ever expected and the developer loses good will, credibility and trust from consumers. Not only that, but Tell Tale should be ashamed of themselves because technical masterpieces such as DOOM, Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank just released so we can all look at those games and laugh at just how inferior this piece of shit is compared to them on a gameplay, story, character, animation, or basically anything stand point. Some companies truly do just never learn, and Tell Tale is definitely one of them considering like every game they release has performance issues.

Not really, sure nothing they have done is as good as Walking Dead season 1, but season 2 was good enough, The Wolf Among Us was pretty good and Tales From Borderlands (wich is relatively recent) is fantastic. They do more shit, GoT was a big failure and Minecraft Story Mode... let's not comment, but they still do wortwhile stuff imo.
People really need to stop buying their games until they get their shit together -_-

They don't even try to optimize anything! We are talking about a company that is basically indie that found a winning formula of rehashing the same poorly made engine using licenced mainstream ips to make "games" with borderline no gameplay mechanics besides the so marketed "Choice system" where your actions don't actually really matter at all because the ending will be pretty much the same. They are a small scale version of bethesda and the fact that their games continue to sell only shows how low the standards are to the average consumer. |
That's false, there is an ilusion of choice wich is mostly that, an ilusion, but some of your choices do actually affect a bunch of things (different events, different fates for the characters, different companions) including the way the ending happens.
And you are completely overlooking the fact that, as interactive shows (because that's what they actually are) the writting, the plot, the direction and the acting is really good in some of them (certainly beyond the average in the industry) wich is something very important in that kind of experience.

Well it got worse so it has to be the new engine l0l |
The engine probably gives Bethesda's a run for its money only Bethesda have the excuse of theirs running an open world.
