Just crazy to see people do this with a game. GG Nintendo.

And all the talk around here: It's a huge success, it's a phenomenon, the money, the money! I notice very few, if any users talk about how good it is as a game. I will say it again at the risk of alienating myself from the Nintendo hardcores on VGC: It looks crap to me. Not the worst thing ever or anything, but crap, with a quality to popularity ratio that may be the most out of whack in human history. Love you! :) |
But the success shows you clearly that people don't give a shit about how it looks. It tells you that most people have their priorities in addicting and fun gameplay. Maybe you could explain how it should look like in order for you to dig it?

Yes you really should. It's phenomenal. I thought it was going to be a really cool game. I wasn't expecting it to be a hit like this... okay no one was.
Also... Squirtle is rare? I seem them at my school fairly common and see them in the tracker. I caught two at school alone. I've yet to see an Eevee evolution though. I need one so bad. If you're wondering. Vaporeon is one of the most powerful Pokémon in the game. So I'm not surprised. Flareon and especially Jolteon get the shitty end of the stick when it comes to original 3. There's a reason you see them placed on the gyms. He's actually an S-tier Pokémon, placing him as one of the best in the game. He's more powerful that Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. There are some strange S-Tier Pokémon like Exeggutor, Wheezing, and Muk. All which tops the aforementioned.
Of course if you want to be a god. Gyarados wrecks. Dragonite seems to be the most powerful though.
| Keybladewielder said: Vaporeon, ha power. Would Flareon or Jolteon cause this kind of meltdowns? |
Likely, but not quite as much as Vaporeon would. He's the most powerful of the 3 and is an S-tier Pokémon. Top 5 in the game actually.... Flareon is also S-Tier but below Vaporeon. Jolteon is A-Tier.
Vaporeon is a force to be reckoned with and should be rightfully feared by those who don't have him. It would be wise to infest your time into one.

good god. I hate these responses. They were out playing their game and were excited to see something rare. This is simply a mass market casual version of a nerdgasm.
It is not like they were in the middle of a job interview and ran out to catch a rare Pokemon. THEY WERE OUT TO HAVE FUN!
Would you approve more if they were at home like usual watching Netflix? I mean priorities right.
Videogames are just as real as gravity. think about that.

not this large of scale, but there were about 30 people sitting at a double pokestop with lures tonight, and JUST outside of the range of the nearbye tracker was a Schyther. I was pretty much a hero when a announced to the group that it was near by. I saw every person at the same time get up and make a mini stampede to the ultra rare MOFO.

This the only time I've ever seen actual humans behave like the trailer for a game depicts people.

I don't think the prequels were ever very popular. |
Many will think this in hindsight due to critical reception. But the prequel trilogy was taking in dough from merchandising. The Star Wars multimedia empire was very strong in the early 2000s.

I'm wondering how many Pokemon hunters I'll see next month in Cologne (GamesCom).
Since Zelda BOTW Nintendo just seem to be steamrolling, Pokemon GO has taken over the world and they're rocking the mobile platform before AC and FE have even arrived, if this carries over to the NX the industry will be turned on its head again.
