Forums - Gaming - Well I'm giving up the Uncharted series forever.

I've completed them all on crushing easily. Sounds like you need to go back to easier games or get good at harder ones. BTW try the Explorer difficulty. It's made for people like you.

Yup... crushing is the way to play uncharted. In crushing you can't shoot at someone long enough to consider him a bullet sponge.... if you tried that, you wouod probably be dead.

I guess the OP would not play games like Dark souls or bloodborne. Actually thats too much, probably can't even play Mario.

Yeah the first one is complete crap. ND themselfs have said that they didnt know what they were doing with the PS3 at the time (no one did) and that it was the hardest and worst experience they've had making a game.

LOL. When I read stuff like this, I imagine first the author sweeping everything off a nearby desk, then furiously typing the text with a phone, hitting 'post,' letting the phone drop dramatically out of their hand, laying the back of that hand over his/her face, then collapsing onto a nearby sofa.

The drama is real.

Git gud.

So another Nintation360 "can't" thread. I've missed those.

What was the other game, think that was Nintendo one, was it DKCR or Fire Emblem?

Is it weird that I smile a little every time someone makes a thread shit talking Uncharted? I'm not even sure why, I just do.

Anyways, yeah...they aren't hard games. Maybe just...I don't know...play Animal Crossing or something?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

One of my big issues with Uncharted 2 was the huge dissonance between "realistic cinematic game" and "bullet sponge enemies". It just felt really weird to me. I remember using the built in cheats to spawn I think a rocket launcher for the train boss and shot him several times but he just shook off the rockets. It felt tacky and out of place and it really made some deep trenches in my enjoyment of the game, especially when replaying sections.

So you're telling me that the bad guys won't stand there and let you shoot them? That's horrible. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Criminals nowadays. They should learn to be respectful and stand still. It's hard to kill them when they're running around.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

What difficulty are you playing on that you're having such trouble in? I wouldn't consider Uncharted that hard until you play on Crushing. 1st game is probably the hardest of the 4 (besides 1 or 2 sections in 4) but just cause it's hard absolutely does not mean it sucks. I, for one, adore the 1st game.

(This was in response to sundin, but the quote thing didn't work out for some reason.)

One thing you gotta keep in mind when playing Uncharted titles is that even though they are games attempting to replicate action movie action, they are still games first and foremost. For the game to be challenging, enemies take way more bullets than should be necessary, there are far more enemies per shootout sequence. Because it's a game ND doesn't have to explain where spawning enemies come from, or more frustratingly, how the villains always beat Drake to whatever the goal is no matter what (makes solving ancient riddles and whatnot seem kind of pointless when the villains get there quicker with explosives). The sooner you accept what is being attempted, the better the series is.
